hi lynda

i go back and forth with these things.

the gn is similar to the ñ sound, but not interchangeable, because

the gn is sound is a bit longer. and the ñ is nasal palate

the y we also called the greek i, and is sometime confused with ll

which is the letter in the alphabet after l.

If I remember correctly ch, the fourth letter of the alphabet is

pronounced differently in italian, maybe like a k?

I was told there was no letter w, then i said yes there is, I being

exposed to W by my mother.

the w was not part of the spanish alfabet.

and has been incorporated, however

all of the words that start with W are americanisms or spanglish.

I have seen rr as a letter but not oficial, then making it to 30

letter of the alfabet.

also, the c is also an s and the qu a k, but the k is rarely used

because the c is also a k, and the c is also a q but c is always more

important than k. (used more)

I think no one should learn to read a language until they learn to speak it

<g> They are ALL much too confusing when you have to write them down!
