Guest guest
Hi everyone I was reading something earlier today about the mayors of something like 30 towns worldwide are getting together to discuss how they can help reduce nasty emissions, and basically become more environmentally friendly. The article ended with a list of what the various towns were doing to try to help the environment... amongst the list was one town which has a bye-law that requires all buildings to have solar panels. Another town had given tax incentives to people who did not drive to work, and had got 70% of the population on public transport, cycles and walking... and what did London have to offer??? "Congestion Charging"... aren't we doing well!!!! BB Peter
