Guest guest
Tonight was garlic oleo noodles with a tossed salad and watermelon and strawberries for dessert. Tomorrow is burritos with homemade salsa since they had organic tomatillos at the farmers market today and we just picked the last of our peppers from the garden. Can't decide whether to jar or dehydate the rest of the peppers. Maybe some of both. It is getting kinda cool evenings up here, so as soon as the corn is ready it will be corn, onion and potato soup time. And tomorrow the kidlet and I are making somemore granola. We're going to candy some walnuts also. Oh, plus we found a recipe for soft cinnamon pretzels. Now, those sound good! Guest guest
I think it's true. Meat takes a very long time to digest and move through the tubes, and dairy clogs everything up. Guest guest
They could , but choose not to, my wife will eat some of the things I eat, but not the kids. My wife made me a nice spicy tofu risoto this week, and bought me half a butternut squash which I had roasted with garlic and cumin with it. She enjoyed the risoto but I had to eat all the squash because no one else would.Tofu is quite a luxary in my house, as I am usually the only one who will eat it . A lot of the food I eat is spicy or has garlic in it which the kids wont attempt. Hopefully this will change with age. Its O.K. for the single guy eh? The Valley Vegan........... Guest guest
Ah hah! There is a book out there you don't know about <<eg>> From one of the books that I rot my brain with when it gets tired of serious reading <<eg>> She's a cop in some future year (2025?) and you punch in your meal requests to this thingy and it zaps you a meal. However, I am surprised that you don't know about them! Most everything is made of soy and "real" meat, eggs and cheese are a very rare commodity. Almost all folks are vegan!
