Guest guest
Are you honestly saying that anyone can homeschool? Or that everyone should? Does that include the parents who beat their children? Should they have extra time with the kids? How about parents who cannot read and their child wishes to be a teacher? Or the architect wanna-be with parents who cannot add? What of those with no patience? Or the parents who don't care about their kids or what they do? Or those with special needs that the parents just cannot help with. They have tried and tried but they cannot ifnd a solution. Or some who haven't tried and wiped their hands of it. Should all of these people homeschool? To some kids, school is the only structure they have in life. The only constant. And for some this is the only place they feel safe and have someone who cares for them. I am a HS advocate, but I do know that some children are better off in school too. That was my point. Not all can homeschool. And definately not all should! And then there are many who could but choose not to.
