Guest guest
I think if I worked 60 hours I week, I'd work, come home, eat, sleep and repeat. I don't how people do it! I onetime read that activists/vegans are a fun, interesting group. And I agree, I think we are kind of interesting in that we seem to like a lot of creative activities. Poetry readings, crafts, going to the park, reading, dance, etc etc. I also think we tend to be more youthful. It's kind of cool, isn't it? I work as many as 60 hours a week lately, butusually I spend my day with James, walking to the local coffeeshop or thelocal (excellent) grocery store, puttering around my house while he works, and running a weekly poetry reading. I spend a day a week (or a littlemore) with Guy, and Carin comes and stays at our house a couple days aweek. So most days are just hanging out with my family unless I have towork. I'm hoping to have more and more of my working life happen at home(I currently have a couple of freelance things that I love, and I willfind more so that eventually I can quit my jobs outside the home).serene
Guest guest
when we are not angry! hee hee. I think you,re right about the youthful part, people who eat more fruits and vegetables automatically (proven in health reports put out by universities) have more antioxidants in their body and keep(prevent damage) their DNA healthier longer. That's just a fact. as for us being interesting, I think it takes a certain kind of person, courage, to choose to be different against (basically) the rest of the world. -anouk - Cc: Lv2breathe 9/15/2005 5:45:08 PM Re: What do you do during the day? Guest guest
I don't think we can generalise about vegans being more interesting as a group. I know interesting vegans and boring vegans, and interesting carnivores and boring carnivores. Being interesting doesn't necessarily mean that you will not eat meat. Jo , " zurumato@e...
