on several recent trips up thru mendocino county, noticed billboards and such

for something called Family Farms Against the GMO Ban!

sounds like astroturfing and related...

but..since thats near yer neck of the woods..know anything about em?

Folks funded by Monsanto. They tried it in Trinity and failed. They tried

it in Humboldt and half succeeded (the language was deemed not legal) and

they are working it in other counties that are trying to pass GMO free

areas. However, they have already bought some legislators and the state may

pass a law stating that counties can't declare themselves GMO free. Now,

that will certainly have Arcata, Greenie Capital of the world and far more

radical than Bezerkely, all up in arms. Last time someone tried to tell

them they couldn't pass a law (that would be the feds <g>), they passed a

law putting money into a fund to pay for lawyers and so forth for anyone

arrested! Watch out Monsanto <<eg>>
