I am beyond speechless and so mad that postal doesn't begin to describe it!

Our Sheriff Arpaio here in Phoenix is really tough on animal cruelity. He's really toughened the laws on convicted animal cruelity cases. He's also started a program at tent city (our jails are over crowded and so he opened tent city where the prisoners stay in tents) where prisoners take care of animals from the shelters to ease the overcrowding at the shelters. The prisoners seem to really like it and have learned a lot. They not only care for the animal, but also work on basic commands to get them ready for homes.Lynda <lurine wrote:
