Recall of Sunflower Seeds

Holland and Barrett has withdrawn specific batches of two sunflower

seed products from its Nature's Harvest range due to two complaints

of a glass-like substance being found in them. The Food Standards

Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.

 

The products affected are:

 

-- Nature's Harvest Salad Sprinkle 250g BBE Oct 2005 Batch No. 20207

 

-- Nature's Harvest Salad Sprinkle 500g BBE Oct 2005 Batch No. 20108

 

-- Nature's Harvest Sunflower Seeds 125g BBE Oct 2005 Batch No. 20042

 

-- Nature's Harvest Sunflower Seeds 500g BBE Oct 2005 Batch No. 22023

 

Point-of-sale notices are to be displayed in all stores. Holland and

Barrett is advising people not to consume any product with

these 'best before end' dates, but to return them to the store where

they were bought for a full refund.
