Guest guest
Well, the good news is that the county is going to come out and chip all the brush we cleared! ! That means will have a ton of chips to make garden paths with and will have reduced the fire fuel load by 75%. The other good news is that we'll be able to walk in the garden without hip boots during long bouts with rain. We got the rabbit fence in and will be securing the bottoms. That should make all the vegans happy because that means we won't have to take other means to protect the garden <g> After that we will be working on deer fencing. The deer don't usually work to get to gardens until late in the summer when all the tender stuff is gone in the fields. We are going with a nature made deer fence and will be making a barrier of saplings instead of buying wire fencing. With the saplings we shouldn't have any problems with young deer trying to jump them and getting their legs caught. Which makes me, the rescue person happy because I won't have to come out and find any deer hopping around on 3 legs or worse AND should make vegans happy as it will mean we don't have to use other means to keep out the deer <g> All in all a good week for everyone!
