Guest guest
I sent this and it came back as bouncing. I don't know how you bounce to a list, just to individuals, I thought. So here's the second try. The birds are out in force around here right now. They start in earlier and are noisier than roosters <g> We love watching the birds and trying to find how many we can ID. Lots of colorful birds, too. We have VERY noisy Stellar Jays, bright blow and noisy Scrub Jays, noisy Acorn Woodpeckers that argue with each other, little and cute Downy Woodpeckers, Ravens as big as buzzards!, really bright blue Western Bluebirds, and some little tiny finches we haven't ID'd yet. Last week the Western Tanager moved in (they are bright yellow with black wings and a red head) and the Hummingbirds have come back (Rufus, Anna's and Calliope). Oh, the Band-Tailed pigeons and robins came back about a month ago. We have a Great Blue Heron that lives year round down the road a bit at the big pond the organic farmer put in. We've got lots of hawks, have seen a Bald Eagle and a couple of Golden Eagles plus some owls. We have a pair of wild turkeys that roam in the " rough " area next to our driveway.
