I think you are right about the way to use the water too.

Keep safe down there in Tx. Hopefully Dean will stay a Cat. 2 or less and

won't do much damage to anyone.

We're also on the Gulf Coast but almost to Florida. Hurricane Season has

become a thing to reckon with for sure.

What a blessing last season was compared to the previous 2

years.............. Hopefully this season will quiet back down.

Hi Katie- I used to watch my Granny make bread and I believe you use

the two tablespoons warm water to mix with the dry yeast to activate

it. Then ,mix it with the rest of the ingredients. Terry's potato

muffins sound wonderful. As soon as this hurricane scare is over, I am

goiing to try them.

That definately makes sense, but the directions say to mix it all together from

the beginning. I will make it as you suggest.
