Guest guest
Hey guys! Glad to join your group -- seems like you got a nice thing going on here! My name's Aly, I'm 23 years old and I cook for a living and for fun! I live on the coast of South Carolina, so it's not often that I meet people interested in a vegetable and grain-based diet. I have, however, fallen in love with southern comfort food and was wondering if anybody out there knows how to make collard greens taste delicious without the ham hock? When I pose this question to southern cooks I am greeted with a blank stare. Thanks, and look forward to getting to know y'all!
Guest guest
Hi Aly! Welcome to the group. I'm from West Virginia so I know where you're coming from. It's hard to find many others around here to eat the same way I do or at least don't criticize the way I eat. As for the collard greens question, I'm sorry I can't help. I've never been much a fan of collard greens anyway. -Sara- In a message dated 8/14/2007 11:46:52 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time, kitchenwench109 writes: Hey guys!
