Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I just found this site in my search for free ebooks: http://manybooks.net/categories/COO There are a couple vegetarian ebooks and others including chocolate, international/ethnic, desserts, herbs, etc. Many were orignaly published about 100 years ago, some newer some older. I hope someone can get some use from the info I downloaded a bunch and there look to be some good recipes and lots of info. April
Guest guest
Oh April thank you so much for this link!! Years and years ago a friend told me about a book she'd found in the library that was just hilarious, she couldn't remember the book title but did recal the author was a woman, last name Beeton,or Beedle, from the 1800's and was about housekeeping. I clicked on the link you sent, scrolled down, and there it was, The Book of Household Management, by Isabelle Beeton. after reading the excerpt I'm thinkin' it's gotta be that same book! I'm off to read it now. If you hear great peals of laughter coming from the direction of west Texas it's me LOL peace, Angela April <adv42084 wrote: Hi Everyone, I just found this site in my search for free ebooks: http://manybooks.net/categories/COO There are a couple vegetarian ebooks and others including chocolate, international/ethnic, desserts, herbs, etc. Many were orignaly published about 100 years ago, some newer some older.
