One simply cannot find it anywhere, and believe me I have tried. However, for those of you who end up in similar circumstances, try aubergines / eggplants. The variety that we get here are rather bit, so I do degorge first; lightly sprinkle with salt and leave for a half-hour. Then I use it instead of tofu. The advantage is that you get the texture if the aubergine is nicely diced. In order to get teh protein I normally add some beens. Building a website is a piece of cake.
