Guest guest Posted August 4, 2007 Report Share Posted August 4, 2007 Gingered Pods & Peppers 2 T. butter or margarine 1 (6-oz.) pkg. frozen pea pods, thawed 2 sm. onions, each cut into 8 wedges 1 med. red bell pepper, cut into strips 1 T. grated fresh gingerroot or 1/2 tsp. ground ginger In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat until sizzling. Stir in thawed pea pods, onion wedges, bell pepper strips and ginger. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are crisply tender,7 to 11 minutes. Yields 4 servings.
