Guest guest
Most of my cats are from a shelter, or someone that could no longer keep their pet or strays. My dog is also from a shelter. They are all very sweet, silly and loveable, but one of my cats that was a wild cat until SPCA resuced it, makes all kinds of growls and hissing sounds, but lets you hold her while she does it. I think it just got to be such a habit to make those sounds that she still makes them. We know she is just a grumpy sweet and funny cat though. She had been returned 2 times because of her growls, but I knew she was all bark, but no bite, except for when she gets really desperate to get outside. LOL Her name is Fluffy, but we call her Fluff McGrump most of the time. Love that crazy cat and all our other babies too. There is a risk that they have some problems from former abuse but mostly they are just happy to be save now. I am a dogtrainer, too, who helps people having problems with their dogs. Guest guest
I'm thrilled to see all of the posts on rescued cats & dogs. It's a daily fight to find good homes for all of them. I love the description of Fluffy - I love cats with attitude. (They remind me of me, I think) Sam Most of my cats are from a shelter, or someone that could no longer keep their pet or strays.
