Guest guest Posted July 31, 2007 Report Share Posted July 31, 2007 French Carrot Medley 2 cups fresh or frozen sliced carrots 3/4 cup unsweetened orange juice 1 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, undrained 4 stalks celery, sliced 2 tablespoons chopped onion 1/2 teaspoon dill weed salt and black pepper to taste, optional 2 teaspoons cornstarch 1/4 cup cold water Combine all ingredients except cornstarch and water in medium saucepan. Simmer, covered, 12 to 15 minutes or until carrots are tender. Combine cornstarch with water in small bowl. Stir into vegetable mixture; cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles.
