Guest guest Posted July 31, 2007 Report Share Posted July 31, 2007 Savory Tempeh 8 ozs. tempeh, cut in 7mm cubes(steam block for 6-7 mins before you cut into cubes) 3 tbsps. vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 onion, finely chopped 2 tsps. chopped fresh chilli 2 tsps. ground coriander 1 tsp. ground turmeric 1 tsp. ground cumin 2 tablespoons chopped green onions salt and pepper to taste In a pan heat oil and fry the tempeh cubes until golden brown and crisp. Add onions and garlic and fry over low heat until soft. Add chilli and ground spices and fry for a minute longer. Add salt, pepper and green onions. Serve with rice.
