Guest guest
You're very welcome. I hope you have lots of great places to eat there. One year we took a Horse Themed Vacation in Kentucky. It was really fun and very special to my girls that are passionate about horses. We went to the Kentucky Horse Park there in Lexington. We enjoyed this working horse ranch with the 2 museums. They happened to even be having a group in doing carriage races that day and a junior group having all kinds of horse events. This place was beautiful and grand. Wish we had the stables they had there!!! We loved the country sides full of pastures and horse everywhere. It was a picturesque drive thru the country side there. Then we went over to Louisville and went to Church Hill Downs, saw some races, took a behind the scenes and stable tour and went to the Kentucky Derby Museum. This place is beautiful and a horse lovers place to dream. The Kentucky Derby Museum was insightful and interesting. Sad too when they told how malnourished that most jockey's are, because they starve themselves to maintain such a low weight. I also remember driving thru Louisville on the interstate around 2a.m. one morning and seeing a lighted Skate Board Park beside the Interstate. It was packed with folks on skateboards all over those ramps, which shocked me for this hour. We were on one of our marathon drives to Toronto to visit family. I became much more awake after seeing all this. LOL Do you know where I am talking about? Do folks skate board there like that all the time? I see Wild Oats is on there. We had some wonderful selections for vegetarian food when we went to restaurant/deli. There were food choices along a whole wall to pick from. http://www.alfalfarestaurant.com/ http://www.vegetarianusa.com/city/Kentucky.html http://www.vegetarian-restaurants.net/usa/Kentucky.htm http://www.veggieheaven.com/usa/kentucky/lexington/ http://www.chipotle.com/#flash/food_ingredients# offers vegetarian options http://www.chipotle.com/# http://www.happycow.net/north_america/usa/kentucky/louisville/index.html these are in Louisville, but that isn't to far away from Lexington in case you are over that way.
