Guest guest
Hi, I am pretty new to all of this. I have been weaning off of meat for years and went cold turkey a couple of months ago. I don't miss it one bit. I love beans and rice but they are always so bland. Do you know what I can put in them besides onions, pepper, and salt? Also, I have been using prego organic pasta sauce but recently found out that the " flavoring " is most likely a meat product. Do you know of any that are definitely meat free? If not how do I make my own with canned tomatos? Thanks, Sheri
Guest guest
Sheri, We enjoy our beans seasoned with garlic (powder, salt, and minced) along with some cumin and just a touch of balsamic vinegar. Sometimes I'll add in some hot sauce for a little extra kick...not much though because DH doesn't care for things too hot. You'll find you can season beans with just about anything that sounds good to you though. Be adventurous and enjoy the results. , " sherirs04 " <sherirs04 wrote: > > Hi, > I am pretty new to all of this.
