I'll have to make it soon. I too love basil and have an abundant supply in my pot on the patio. Love, love, love that stuff. I sent the recipe to my daughter and she made it tonight. Everyone cleaned their plates which is pretty amazing for a two and four year old. I would say this is a keeper. The ravioli sound wonderful! Definitely something to try. I, too, do basil every year. It isn't summer without fresh basil. Funny thing, I went to the grocery store and bought some basil about a month ago (it had roots). I used what I needed and planted what was left. The next day it looked pretty sad, but once it acclimated to its new home it perked right up. Whoda thunk? I mentioned this last year, but since it's basil time again, thought I'd pass it along again. The best way to keep basil from your garden fresh indoors is to keep it in some water on your kitchen counter. Surprisingly, it takes root pretty quickly and lasts in water forever. Once it roots you can replant it (indoors if you have a warm sunny spot, or outdoors if you're fortunate to live in a warm climate). Basil is extremely cold sensitive and doesn't do well in the fridge.
