Guest guest Posted July 23, 2007 Report Share Posted July 23, 2007 Spicy Cabbage Stir Fry 1 tbsp. peanut or olive oil 1 large garlic clove, chopped 1-inch piece fresh ginger root, chopped 5 cups mixed cabbage leaves, such as Savoy, Chinese, or Green 1 tbsp. clear honey 1 tsp. toasted sesame oil 1 tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted 2 tsps. Braggs or soy sauce some red pepper flakes are optional Heat the oil in a wok or large, deep skillet, then sauté the garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds. Add the cabbage and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, until tender, tossing frequently. Stir in the Braggs or soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil and cook for 1 minute. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve. May also add any cooking greens mixed in with the cabbage, such as Bok-choi, Spinach, or Tat-soi. ______________________________\ ____ Sick sense of humor?
