Guest guest
Slushies We love these things. We havent done them in a long time.. When we do them now I have to use the crushed Ice from my fridge because my blender broke and I havent bought a new one yet.. 1 package of unsweetened Kool-Aid drink mix, any flavor 2 cups of water 1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar 4 cups ice In a blender, combine Kool-Aid, water and sugar. Blend. Add all the ice and blend. That's it! Pour into cups, add a straw and enjoy on those hot summer days. Great for mom and dad too. Variations: For Coca Cola, simply add one can of Coke and enough ice to cover and blend. Or add a scoop of ice cream before pouring in the slushie, yum! NOTE: It is best to use a blender with an " ice crushing " feature on it. You can buy many different kinds, from the higher priced models to the mid-range and down to the cheapie at Wal-Mart, though I DO NOT recommend the cheapies, they break easily. Guest guest
Have you used this recipe by just using sugar free kool-aide and not adding any more? There are diabetics in my family and this would be good for our family reunion if that would work. BOnni J Bartimus <tinysam74 wrote: Slushies We love these things.
