Guest guest Posted July 18, 2007 Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 @@@@@ Spiced Potato Cakes - Algerian 2 Pounds Mashed Potato 1 Tablespoon Paprika 2 Teaspoons Cumin 1 Pinch Cayenne Salt And Pepper -- To Taste 1 Bunch Cilantro -- Chopped 3 Medium Eggs Oil -- For Frying In a large bowl mix potatoes with the spices, cilantro, eggs and seasonings. Form mixture into patties. Cover and chill for 30 minutes. Heat a shallow layer of oil in a frying pan, add the cakes in batches and fry until crisp and brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels and serve.
