Guest guest Posted July 15, 2007 Report Share Posted July 15, 2007 Wet Bottom Shoofly Pie 3 c molasses 1 c brown sugar 3 c boiling water 2 tsp. Baking Soda, dissolved in boiling water 8 eggs 5-6 unbaked pie crusts Crumbs: 6 c flour 2 c brown sugar 1 t soda (baking) 1½ c shortening or lard Beat 4 c crumbs with the molasses, brown sugar, boiling water, soda and eggs. Divide juice evenly into 5-6 piecrusts. Put rest of crumbs on top. Bake at 425° for 10 min, then at 350° for 45 min. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
