Sausage gravy?

I have Gimme Lean. I have a biscuit recipe. But, what do I do for the

gravy?

I hunted through the sauce files. I hunted through the breakfast files.

Anybody....???

You could use a vegetarian margarine in place of the sausage grease.

We're not vegan, so we make gravy w/ milk; however, I handle the lack of grease

( a gravy necessity) in the soy sausage with simple olive oil. You will add

several times during cooking to create even a little bit of pan drippings, but I

make the roux and gravy with the sausage still in the pan. Works wonderfully

every time.
