Guest guest Posted July 14, 2007 Report Share Posted July 14, 2007 We're not vegan, so we make gravy w/ milk; however, I handle the lack of grease ( a gravy necessity) in the soy sausage with simple olive oil. You will add several times during cooking to create even a little bit of pan drippings, but I make the roux and gravy with the sausage still in the pan. Works wonderfully every time.
