Oatmeal Whole Wheat Yogurt Garlic Breadsticks

Note: Organic ingredients are recommended...

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup oats

1 cup whole wheat flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 tablespoons pure honey

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1 cup plain yogurt (reduced fat or no fat if desired)

2 cloves garlic; grind

METHOD:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

Grind oatmeal in a food processor or blender.

In a large bowl, combine oatmeal, flour, baking powder.

In a separate bowl, dissolve honey in olive oil then stir in the yogurt.

Combine both mixtures and stir until a soft dough is formed, covered set aside

for at least 30 minutes.

On a slightly floured surface, roll out dough, cut dough into 12 pieces

(regular) or 24 pieces (mini).

Roll out each small dough and twists each dough 2-3 times to form breadstick.

Top with grinded garlic and brush olive oil and place on a lightly oiled baking

sheet.

Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes…
