The way we like them is when the peel is very dark and the plaintain

is somewhat soft, peel, slice the plaintain on the diagonal, not too

thick or too thin.....lay in a pan with a little butter...squeeze

lemon juice over all, then a sprinkle of cinnamon.

 

Let them 'simmer' for a few minutes, then turn them over, sprinkle

with a little more lemon juice and cinnamon. They will turn dark and

somewhat crusty.

 

You may have to add a little more butter, so they don't stick.

 

These taste so good this way and they taste very much like the way the

Cuban restaurants serve them.

YOU ALSO CAN BOIL IN SKIN TILL TENDER PEEL AND MASH ADD BUTTER SALT

PEPPER KINDA LIKE MASHED POTATO

FRY THEM LIKE CHIPS ADD SALT THEY SELL IN STORES IN THE SOUTH LIKE FLORIDA

MAYBE IN POTATO CHIP ISLE
