Hello Group,

My name is Harry and I joined the group yesterday. I live in sunny

South Australia but today is cold and wet.

I have been eating vegetarian for some time and have been enjoying

experimenting with dfferent tastes and types of food.

My question today: is it ok to freeze tofu after browing with

onion and garlic so I can use it another day.

It is from my own personal experience -and it always makes me nervous

to heat, cool and then reheat soy. We try not to " reheat " soy stuffs at

all - and have adverse reactions when we have done otherwise.

We avoid tofu and tempeh both if it has been cooked and then is

reheated. like bringing part of a tofu dish home from a restaurant and

then reheating the leftovers -

We would suggest caution and beware of making yourself sick, when it

comes to reheating precooked soy products.

Doc,

Thankyou. It's always good to be aware when handling foods. I am

still in an experimental stage with some vegetarian cooking and

appreciate the help.

Regards,

Harry
