Guest guest
Very sad, he played no part is being a parent and she hates the world knowing he fathered her. Her Mother raised her as a single parent and she used to spend days listening to her Mom's albums. She is a true talent, isn't she. OK Deanna you can put her on the CD player as you cook. Guest guest
I have two CD's (hm, maybe three but I'm at work and not at home and can't remember for certain at the moment) by Norah Jones and one CD by Anoushka Shankar, her half sister, oh and one by Ravi Shankar also. These web pages don't make her relationship sound quite that bad although it does indicate she was raised by her mother and was estranged for most of her childhood from her father. Sounds like they've resolved some of their issues. http://www.spring.net/music/ http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/Music/02/24/grammys.ravishankar.ap/index.html I always like listening to music and have a tendency to, um, over-collect (or at least I think that's what my wife thinks). I think 5000 or 6000+ CD's is still a relatively small collection. And to add a bit of vegetarian flavor to the email, has anyone ever had sorrel soup? I bought some fresh sorrel at Whole Foods this week and hope to make a sorrel soup this week (maybe even for the 4th of July although maybe not the most appropriate, I admit.) Maybe I'll listen to Edith Piaf while making that.
