Guest guest
Some crackers and chips are so salty or sweet that I too am sensitive to the taste. I enjoy both salt and sugar but not to the extreme. One thing I hate is chewing a cracker or chip and being able to feel/taste the shortening in my mouth. It tastes 'greasy' to me. I can pour olive or sesame seed oil on my salad and take Flax seed oil by the spoonfull but that 'greasy shortening' taste is awful. No trans-fats is great but now we need to encourage the companies to use more herbs for flavor instead of sugar. Sugar and salt compliment each other and I often put a dash of sea salt in my frosting mix. It enhances the flavor. I enjoy raw organic cane sugar and make my fresh lemonade with it. By the way..If you can find an old fashion glass lemon squeezer thing grab it. Works fantastic to extract the juice and most of the pulp from the lemon or orange. If your lemons or oranges are organic wash and dry the peel for future flavorings for tea..etc. Make a rewarding , peaceful day Deanna in Colorado
