Allow the flames to die out before you begin cooking. 2. Wash the sweet potatoes and chop into quarters. Sprinkle with salt and wrap in foil to enclose the potatoes completely. 3. Place on the coals of the barbecue and cook, turning frequently, until softened, about 15-20 minutes. Get the toolbar and be alerted to new email wherever you're surfing.
