Guest guest
If you haven't tried fresh home made flour tortillas you don't know what you've been missing. They taste nothing like the store bought. Do I make them..Nope, no way ! Daughter and I bought some this morning and they were so good we ate them plain while we were out garage sale-ing.. They are puffy, and the inside not the least bit chewy. These are not made with lard. By the way daughter bought a wonderful apple peeler hand cranked thing for $2 , a George Forman Griddle thingy for $2, and a fabulous coffe maker for $5. Life is just way too much fun sometimes. Guest guest
I would like the recipe with no shortening. I know I love my homemade tortillas but they do have shortening. Thanks! Guest guest
The Flour Tortilla recipe is made with vegetable shortening but no lard. Traditional tortillas are made with lard.
