jasmine rice and brown rice Hey Amy & Bonni and the rest

For Amy and Bonni :

You will really like the jasmine rice, it's as good as the basmati.

 

How I cook my brown rice. I saute one cup of it with olive oil,

garlic, sliced muchrooms, onions and some herbs. Then I transfer it to

the rice cooker with 2 1/3 cups water and push start. It comes out so

good I have to rush the bowl or my roommates will get it first when the

cooker stops.

ok, call me dumb! I never thought to saute some rice with olive oil and

loverllies like garlic mushrooms, etc. and THEN finish cooking it. -- GREAT

IDEA!
