When I make smoothies, I use fruit or veggies, just add the juice of your

choice, apple juice,

Cranberry juice, orange juice etc and ice.

Re: green smoothie, blender or juicer?

How exactly do you make smoothie, what do you use, give the scoop..

I thought they were more like milk shakes than anything and they

used milk or yogurt or some kind of dairy.. Are they in place of a

meal or what?? If not it sound like an awful lot of calories for

me..

In additiona to frozen and fresh fruits and juice we put in non fat

yogurt--plain is nice and tart, vanilla sweetens it a bit. Sometines we put in

some hiney, too. My 9 year old daughter loves them so much she will make them

for snacks--healthy and delicious! Trader Joes is the best place t get

affordable frozen fuit and in addition to berries they (most of the time)have

mangoes, pineapple, peaches and cherries!
