Guest guest
When I make smoothies, I use fruit or veggies, just add the juice of your choice, apple juice, Cranberry juice, orange juice etc and ice. ---- Bev 6/26/2007 10:36:08 PM Re: green smoothie, blender or juicer? How exactly do you make smoothie, what do you use, give the scoop.. I thought they were more like milk shakes than anything and they used milk or yogurt or some kind of dairy.. Are they in place of a meal or what?? If not it sound like an awful lot of calories for me.. Guest guest
In additiona to frozen and fresh fruits and juice we put in non fat yogurt--plain is nice and tart, vanilla sweetens it a bit. Sometines we put in some hiney, too. My 9 year old daughter loves them so much she will make them for snacks--healthy and delicious! Trader Joes is the best place t get affordable frozen fuit and in addition to berries they (most of the time)have mangoes, pineapple, peaches and cherries!
