The following recipe was in Digest no. 4107.

Could you please give complete instructions? What do we do with the other 4

cups of blueberries, the margarine, the lemon juce, whipped topping? It

sounds delicious but I don't want to take for granted what should be done with

the rest of the ingredients as I could really mess it up, and with the cost of

blueberries, in particular, I sure don't want to do that!

Ingredients:

6 cups fresh or frozen blueberries, divided

1/4 cup sugar

2 tbsp. water

2 tbsp. cornstarch

ready-made pie crust or 1/2 flaky pie crust, baked

 

Directions:

Combine 2 cups berries, 2 tbsp. water and sugar in saucepan. Bring to a

boil.

 

Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup water, add to blueberry mixture.

 

Return to a boil, stirring constantly. Allow to cool slightly Pour into

pie crust

 

Refrigerate 5 hours

Good question! I didn't even pay attention LOL - I just printed it out for

another day!!

This recipe sounds delicious, but I'd never get a chance to make it. My

granddaughter LOVES blueberries. She won't share them at all with anyone.

Last week she had 1/2 cup of them and ate every single one even though her

mom and I were begging her to share with us!
