I know what you mean about the default orange carrots. Same with the tomatoes. Before I started working for an organic produce delivery company I had no idea there were all those different kinds of tomatoes, weird-looking lumpy ones, striped, green but ripe, etc. I'd be willing to bet the orange carrots became the default because they ship & store better or some other commercial reason, but then I'm somewhat cynical Peace, Diane > > Yeah, I think we may be talking about the same thing, though the > red ones were red throughout.
