Hey Genny,

I'm a French Canadian. Maybe I can help... since it's the middle of the night in

France right now *lol*. " Potager " is the french word for a vegetable garden.

It's usually on a small scale. The pronounciation is putt-ah-shjay... or pretty

as close as I can get without a wav file :)

Hope that helped :)

Re: Hello, I'm another newbie!

Welcome Judy,

Thanks for teaching me a new word. However you use the word potager

in a different way than the dictionary defines it. After checking

dictionary.com I discovered that the definition for 'potager' is a

porridge or soup. I am a poet and a lover of words so please explain

your " potager " .

I can't wait to use the word 'potager' in my next Literati or

Scrabble game. Now I need to learn how to pronounce it properly so I

can use is intelligently. LOL

Please share recipes ..
