Guest guest
There is a great website and you can print a pocket guide about more responsible seafood consumption seafoodwatch.org it is from the Monterey Bay Aquarium and talks about which species are over fished, caught using destructive methods, or full of mercury. The printable guide is great for anyone who eats (or lives with someone who eats) fish. From what I understand the farmed fish(salmon) is not necessarily a better choice in that, like farmed beef, chickens, etc. they are crammed together in ocean pens and there is the need for antibiotics and other additives in the feed to keep them healthy, which then washes into the open ocean and contaminates... melissa , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > Thank you, we rarely see anything out there about > seafood or the ocean environment. > Donna > --- bantrymoon wrote: > > > >>>> For anyone who has done their research on the > > disadvantages of seafood > > please fill me in.
