Healthy Breakfast Drink

I do not and never have been able to eat breakfast. But I recently made up

something that works great and gives me both protein and vitamins. Of

course, I had to go out and buy a good blender as I didn't have one in the

house,

but thought it might work if I wanted something that would taste great but

not be solid food, which I just can't handle in the morning.

I buy a large box of strawberries at Costco, or a couple of small boxes at

the supermarket.

Wash, hull, cut in half and freeze.

Take a few ripe bananas, break each into 4 pieces and freeze.

To make the breakfast drink:

Put 3/4 cup of Lactaid Skim Milk or Soy Milk (Your choice-both work well)

Add about six large frozen strawberry halves

Add four pieces of frozen banana

Add one envelope of Sweet N Low OR one teaspoon of sugar (Again, your choice)

Pulse a bit to break up the frozen fruits. Mix on high to add air to drink

and make it foam up.

By freezing the fruits and using cold milk, you get a thick, tasty shake

without having to add powders or ice cream. And the entire drink is under 200

calories!!!
