Pam, Welcome. Glad to see you've already found the recipe files. I hope your

eggplant plants produce nicely for you. I love eggplant too. I also love to

garden. I use the square foot gardening method. www.squarefootgardening.com

Saves my back and body a ton of work and yet get great results. Right now I

have cucumbers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, green peppers and okra growing in it.

I have some rosemary, chives and basil in pots on the patio and use it often in

cooking.

My hat is off to you with living thru a remodeling. I think the craftman style

home is nice.

We are animal lovers here too.

Nice to have you join us.

HTH,

Judy

Good morning members. I'm new to your group and wanted to take a skinny

minute to introduce myself to you. My name is Pam, I live in Ohio with my

husband of 29 years, a gaggle of Chihuahuas, two sweetie pie cats, one

bratty yorkie and a couple of dirty birds. We did small breed rescue

transports for a number of years and adopted the hard to place wee ones. I

love to cook with a passion and garden with equal verve, do counted cross

stitch, sew and as a joint effort my husband and I are renovating/remodeling

our 1925 craftsman home.

Den and I are getting up there in years, turning 60 in a month, and we're

beginning to feel those aches and pains of aging and our energy is a bit

lack luster so we've decided that a change of diet may be a good beginning

point to getting down the road of feeling better. We both have

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more living to do and things to accomplish to be feeling

so crusty. Lol So here I am looking for new recipes and advise on becoming

vegetarian. Both of us are very enthused and looking forward to this new

change.

By the way, I looked in your files and thannnnk goodness!!! You have several

great eggplant recipes. Den asked if we could grow some eggplants this year

and I said sure. He came home with 6 eggplant plants. Yikes, I really need

those recipes. Lol

All the best to each of you

Pam
