Guest guest
Do this, rinse it in a wire strainer really well. It has a natural protective bitter coating, it's harmless but doesn't taste good. Let it sit in the strainer. Add it to a dry hot skillet and toast it for a delicious flavor. Add to a sauce pan 1 cup quinoa to 1 3/4 cups water boil, cover and turn on a simmer for 20 minutes. Fluff with a fork and eat. Do Not presoak it. You can rinse and boil without toasting in a pan. I love the toasted flavor though.
