Hi everyone,

 

My name is Jennifer and I'm a new vegetarian. I live in Dublin, CA (45 miles

east of San Francisco). I'm 34, married with 3 furry kids (Charlie the

female dog, Indigo the mean cat and Homer the one-eyed cat). I omitted beef

and pork from my diet about 6 months ago and am moving to the next phase.

What I will miss the most is seafood. My primary reason for becoming

vegetarian is for the animals. I'm a huge animal lover. I am a volunteer

foster for an animal rescue group. I've been doing this for just over 5

years. I also want to adopt a more healthy lifestyle too so this is the

perfect solution.

 

For anyone who has done their research on the disadvantages of seafood

please fill me in. I've done lots of research on factory farming but not on

why seafood is harmful. I'm a member of PETA and USHS. Any insight you can

provide would be great!

 

To respond to Steph's email (mrswalp29) about quinoa. I just did

my research on it and read that you just need to rinse it well to remove the

bitterness. If you try that and then cook it that might work.
