Guest guest
They should be soft as a peach when you eat them, if still a little hard just chop up and add to a well seasoned lentil stew, trust me it will be good.LOL Tell me what you think of the Kiwano when you open it, that thing creeped me out. Another fruit is a dragonfruit, very pretty with a lovely magenta hot pink skin but not that tasty inside, it's Ok but not like a nice ripe white peach. Donna --- " Nicole W. Guest guest
Okay - these are pretty soft - maybe that one was just blah. Hubby ate one today with no complaints...though he rarely complains when he has food in front of him LOL. I tried some dragonfruit vitawater and I wasn't real thrilled with it but Lisa (a newbie here) loves it. Oh I already opened it LOL but I cut a slice off the end instead of lengthwise so it might not have looked so bad I thought it was pretty tasty but yes - a bit strange inside LOL...I showed it to mom on skype and she thought it was gross LOL She didn't like the looks of the Tamarillo either...ha!! Hopefully it won't take too long for my pineapple to freeze & I can report how my sorbet is tomorrow....
