Guest guest
You are my heroin! I'm totally impressed with you, the group and the interview! Keep up the good work. I'm a cooking maniac so I always take a dish wherever I go anf when we have a potluck at work in any department they are sure to invite me, they love what I cook and someone or 3 always want the recipe. I have had many defensive non-vegetarians try to give me a bad time, I always say I do this for me just like you smoke or eat meat for you. Don't step on my toes and I won't step on yours and I immediately change the subject with, how was your weekend, have any plans for the holidays, etc. They back right off but I'd say most of the time they are trying to find out where I got a patch on my jeans from, what exactly is the color of your hair so I can try it, or making some comment on my HUGE hoop earrings...LOL I've been a vegetarian so long that I really don't pay much attention to negative comments. I have found over the years, the ones that have given me the hardest time, have ended up vegetarian and that's the truth. Then they end up apologizing and asking me for help. Guest guest
Donna, I love it!!! Especially when they are asking for recipes and eventually becoming vegetarians. I find that people love the new recipes. Lots of people in this day and age cannot cook, so they have missed a lot. By tasting the delicious vegetarian dishes and asking how to prepare it, they are slowly learning how to cook and they are very proud of it.
