Guest guest
You know I spend more time helping people at the product area of the market, I'm a people magnet! I end up giving them our group link. Many are in here with us now. I know a ton of omni's that don't cook period. They pop junk in the microwave and open salad bags, or eat fast food. My food is the first empty dish on the potluck table. If you make it tasty they are going to eat it. Hummus is the one thing that really cracks me up, they eat it first and then say, Wow! What was that dip? hahahahaha Sure beats the sour cream dip with a packet of French onion mixed in. The woodcrafter guys next door to my job are hooked on the roasted squash soup with spicy maple pepitas on top. The UPS guy brings me empty containers for my potato salad, the nurses at the resthome where my Mom is beg for my sweetbreads and pasta salads because they are always trying to see what food I bring my Mom and if there is a taste leftover before I serve her, and the list goes on and on. My brother-in-law waved a rib or chicken bone in my face for over 25 years only to become a VEGAN for the last 4 yrs, you believe that? This guy never let up, he was so rude. He ate at a vegetarian restaurant one time and I asked him to leave he was so disgusting to the waitress and all of us around him. My younger nephew will bring over 20 friends and everyone is vegetarian friendly, love the food and out of those 20 friends 5 are vegetarian and 2 are flexitarians and only eat meat if they are invited to a friends house and there's nothing else. I'd say that it pretty good statistics. Donna --- Marilyn Daub <mcdaub wrote: > Donna, I love it!!! Especially when they are asking > for recipes and > eventually becoming vegetarians.
