Guest guest
It's fresh fruit and vegetable season and we are excited! A great time of year to enjoy such a bounty of harvest! Going to the garden everyday and picking what we'll eat that day is well... fantastic! However, we know that millions of our American Brothers and Sisters do not have the luxury of going out to the 'Garden Grocery' each day like we do. So, this list may come in handy in making produce buying decisions. Remember to support and enjoy your local Farmer's markets as they are so vital to our sustainable living! Here's a list of conventionally grown produce items with the highest and lowest pesticide residues. The 12 MOST Contaminated are: Apples Bell Peppers Celery Cherries Imported Grapes Nectarines Peaches Pears Potatoes Red Raspberries Spinach Strawberries The 12 LEAST Contaminated are: Asparagus Avocados Bananas Broccoli Cauliflower Corn Kiwi Mangos Onions Papaya Pineapples Peas Enjoy the bounty! Healthy Eating!
