Guest guest
One of the reasons I went vegetarian was to hopefully lower my cholesterol. High cholesterol runs in my family--my mom and my grandma are both on medication. Last time I had mine checked it was 246, and I ate " normal " for a non-veg, nothing too terrible. The prospect of medication for life (I'm 30 now) was not very attractive. But--after switching to vegetarian for only 2 months now, my cholesterol has dropped to 191!!!!! I am so excited!!! I may still have to cut back on dairy and eggs because my bad cholesterol was still a bit high, but I am thrilled! Just had to tell you all!
